Our approach

Is it true there are no exams?

Yes. Teachers follow each child's understanding every day through class work, activities and conversation. Parents receive regular progress updates, without the stress of exams or rankings.

Why don't children carry school bags?

All books and materials stay at school. This protects children's backs, keeps mornings calm, and means nothing is forgotten at home.

Is there homework?

Homework is completed at school with teacher support, so evenings are free for family, rest and play.

What is concept-based learning?

Instead of memorising, children learn the "why" behind every idea. This builds critical thinking and long-term understanding, in line with Oxford International standards.

Curriculum

Which curriculum does Monarch follow?

Monarch follows the Oxford International Curriculum for all subjects.

Do you teach AI and technology?

Yes. Classrooms use modern, AI-powered tools, and AI learning starts in Grade 1 with the basics. As children move up, it grows into coding, computational thinking and responsible use of AI.

How is Quran education included?

Quran learning and Islamic studies are part of every school day, along with strong moral and Islamic values.

Ages and timings

How many students are in each class?

Classes are kept small, with a maximum of 20 students, so teachers can give every child personal attention.

Which ages do you teach?

From Early Years (age 3 and above: Pre-Primer, Primer A and Primer B) up to Grade 7.

What are the school timings?

Summer: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Winter: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Timings may change in line with government notifications, and parents are informed in advance.
